Who Is the provoked cock?

I’m not here to fix you. I’m here to PROVOKE you and to hand you the playbook that saved my life.

I’m Clinton J. Mansfield — author of The Provoked Cock & The Provoked Protocol. I founded PROVOKECOACH.COM and created the 22-habit system that rebuilt my life when everything fell apart.

I don’t coach from a mountaintop.
I coach from the same trenches you’re in.

This brand, this site, this whole “Provoked” world…
was born out of being broken, bitter, burned out, and done with my own excuses — and then choosing to do something about it every single day.

If you’re here, it’s probably because something in you is already provoked too.


There was a season of my life where everything looked fine from the outside…
and everything was falling apart on the inside.

Physically, I was exhausted and inflamed.
Mentally, I was scattered and angry.
Emotionally, I was numb, resentful, and running on fumes.

I was good at pretending.
Good at performing.
Good at telling everyone else they could change — while I was quietly drowning in my own habits, my own stories, and my own avoidance.

Then life did what life does when you ignore the warning signs:
it provoked me.

Pain. Loss. Failure.
Health issues. Financial pressure. Dark thoughts.
The kind of storm that strips you down to who you really are when all the titles and labels fall off.

Out of that season, I didn’t write a cute quote.
I built a protocol.

I started changing one day at a time with 22 simple, brutal, honest habits.

These weren’t “tips.”
They were my lifeline.

Those 22 habits are now known as The Provoked Protocol — the system I live by and the program I coach others through.
